Spherient Advisors is pleased to welcome Ali Pino as a Consultant and Principal. With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ali is uniquely situated to help Spherient Advisors provide employers in the Mid-Atlantic area with qualified plan and employee benefit consulting services. Ali spent eleven years with John Hancock, starting her career as a Retirement Plan Sales Associate where she learned the business from one of the top sales reps in the company and elevating to Vice President of Strategic Relationship Management, ultimately managing a book of $1.6B in retirement plan assets spread across 600+ plans. She then spent four years with MassMutual as the Managing Director of Emerging Markets covering Southeast Virginia, where she was responsible for sales and distribution of MassMutual’s retirement platform and investment-only placements through Financial Advisors. Ali earned a BA in Public Relations and Spanish from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Originally from Westfield, New Jersey, she currently resides in Richmond, Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys competing in show jumping with her off the track thoroughbred, Noah, paddle boarding with her rescue lab, Turtle, and spending time at her family’s house on Ocracoke Island.
